Students will work individually, and in groups, to demonstrate proficiency in reading, comprehension, and critical thinking. Differentiating instruction will be used when at all possible to meet every student’s needs. We will focus on the basics of understanding and analyzing fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. The students will spend a portion of their time reading independently and discussing and writing about their chosen texts.
