Government- In this quarter-long course the students will examine the various principles of American Government and the federal, state and local governments. This course will require student involvement in the form of research papers, projects, and individual reading assignments
Economics- This quarter-long study of the American Economic system develops knowledge of how economic decisions are made and a comprehension of the results of these decisions. It includes a study of economic markets and how they satisfy the needs of the American public. The concepts of our nation’s income, gross nation products, and automation, unemployment, and economic impact on political issues are also explored. The American system is compared to other systems world wide.
